![]() ![]() He returned finally on the 5th of April in 2015, and came back very strongly the next year. The injury sidelined George for the majority of the 2014-15 NBA season. While going for the defense, George landed awkwardly on the stanchion suffering multiple fractures in the lower leg. Paul George suffered a gruesome leg injury in the year 2014, during a Team USA Basketball Showcase. In the 2021-2022 season, George was hit with injuries and the Clippers failed to make it to the playoffs. This year, 2020-21 season, the Clippers made it to Western Conference Finals, for the first time in their history. Although, the team made it to the playoffs, George’s dismal performance in the playoffs earned him the nickname ‘Pandemic P’ – in reference to his earlier self-proclaimed nickname ‘Playoff P’. In the 19-20 season George was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. The 18-19 season saw George help OKC to yet another playoff spot. With the help of George, the Thunder reached the playoffs of the Western Conference that year, but bowed out in the first-round playoffs against Utah Jazz. The 2017-18 season saw Paul George traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. They would go on to lose their first-round play off matchup against Cleveland Cavaliers. They lost to Toronto Raptors.ĭuring the 2016-17 season, George had several 30+ point games, and eventually helped the Pacers reach their sixth playoffs in seven years. He helped the Pacers reach yet another playoffs. He came back strongly during the 2015-16 season. Just like in the year 2012-13 he was once again named in the All-NBA Third Team.Ģ014-15 turned out to be nightmarish for George as he suffered a serious off-season injury that had him sidelined for the majority of the season. ![]() George once again helped the Pacers move to the Eastern Conference Finals, to be beaten once again by a surging Miami Heat.
